PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable gain amplifier circuit capable of suppressing the change of a gain characteristic to a temperature variation, and to provide an IC on which the variable gain amplifier circuit is packaged, and a radio communication system. SOLUTION: The variable gain amplifier circuit is provided with: an amplifier circuit 1 for changing a gain by using an input control voltage from the outside and for outputting an amplified signal resulting from amplifying an input signal by using the gain; and a control voltage regulation circuit 2 for outputting, as an input control voltage, a regulated control voltage resulting from regulating said input control voltage to said amplifier circuit 1, so that a variation of said gain caused by a temperature variation is canceled.
