PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system and an imaging device constituting the image display system, which display composed image data with less positional deviation between corresponding imaged areas of a visible image and an infrared image when compositing imaged visible light data and infrared data. SOLUTION: Optical axes of lenses 110 and 114 being an optical system for infrared rays are arranged in the center of an imaging surface of a pyroelectric image pickup device 112, and optical axes of lenses 110 and 115 being an optical system for visible rays are arranged in the center of an imaging surface of a CCD 113. The respective optical axes pass the center point of a slope side of a prism 111. In order to make one imaging area match the corresponding imaging surfaces of the pyroelectric image pickup device 112 and the CCD 113, angles of field of lenses 114 and 115 to the imaging area are equalized by equalizing sizes of the imaging surfaces of the pyroelectric imaging device 112 and the CCD 113 and focal lengths of lenses 114 and 115.
