PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, whenever a driver changes vehicles, setting of steering characteristics of a steering supporting device has to be changed in regard to a vehicle. SOLUTION: In memory media 20, the steering property of the steering supporting device set in another vehicle is stored. The steering characteristics of the steering supporting device stored in the memory media 20 is read into a cellular phone 17 as a portable terminal, and sent to a navigation device 100 through a communication cable 104. In the navigation device 100, the steering characteristics is converted on the basis of a converting rule, and setting of the steering characteristics is changed for an applicable steering supporting device.
