PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patent/utility model document search system for more efficiently extracting a patent document required by a searcher. SOLUTION: A user uses an input part 1 to input a high order concept keyword equivalent to an essential feature of an invention to be searched and the low order concept keyword. A search implementing part 3 extracts the high order concept keyword equivalent to the essential feature of the invention from the text information of claim based on a formulaic description format such as a patent specification, and extracts the low order concept keyword from the text information of a part other than the claim. The search implementing part 3 compares the set of the high order concept keyword and the lower order concept keyword inputted from the input part 1 with the set of the high order concept keyword and the low order concept keyword extracted by the search implementing part 3 to calculate a concordance rate, and selects patent or utility model document to be presented to a user based on the calculated concordance rate, and makes a display part 4 display the selected document.
