PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter capable of improving handleability without impairing esthetic appearance. SOLUTION: The front surface of a case constituting the gas meter is provided with an opening part 11 for a display. A back surface opposed to the front surface provided with the opening 11 is provided with a pair of vertically extended and recessed grip parts 13a and 13b.
