PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eight-cloth rope having flexibility and handleability superior to those of a three-piece rope and solve the problems of the rope comprising the complicate bonding work of a hook, etc., to take labor and increase the production cost, and the variation of strength caused by the variation of the finished states according to the skill level of the processing worker. SOLUTION: The method discloses a method to form a product having sufficient strength by carrying out the end treatment for the bonding of a part to an end of an eight-cloth rope by a sewing machine. Concretely, an end of a textile cloth rope is folded and superposed by a prescribed length, the main line before the folding is closely placed in parallelly arranged state and both components are sewn by a zigzag sewing at a stitch density of≥15 stitches per 10 mm to firmly connect and integrate both components.
