PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for adhering a shock-absorbing pad to an interior trim in which an erroneous adhesion of the shock-absorbing pad is surely prevented and an easy and sure adhesion of the shock-absorbing pad is completed. SOLUTION: A laser beam irradiation mechanism 40 is installed above a jig table 20 for setting a roof trim 1, or a pad guide mechanism 50 and a putt fixing mechanism 60 for temporarily holding the shock-absorbing pad 5 are arranged at a circumferential edge of the jig table 20. Then, when the laser beam irradiation mechanism 40 is used, a laser beam indicating a shock-absorbing pad adhering position P at the rear surface of an appropriate roof trim 1 is irradiated by a control device 30. In addition, when the pad guide mechanism 50 and the pad fixing mechanism 60 are used, an adhering work for the shock-absorbing pad 5 is completed easily and rapidly by properly adapting the shock-absorbing pad 5 for the shock-absorbing pad adhering position P through a cylinder driving system or a manual arm applying system.
