PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method or a control device for a track vehicle in which rotation speed of a motor does not become unsuitable, fuel consumption becomes good, responsiveness to behavior of the rotation speed of the motor is good and engine stop can be avoided. SOLUTION: In the control method for the track vehicle performing traveling and swinging by the mounted motor, swing torque by the motor required for swing of the track vehicle is operated based on an operation amount of a swing instruction means, traveling torque by the motor required for traveling of the track vehicle is operated based on the vehicle speed and the maximum torque of the motor is operated based on the operation amount of the motor. swing speed is controlled in response to the operation amount of the swing instruction means and the vehicle speed is controlled based on difference of the maximum torque and the swing torque.
