The invention concerns a hydraulic brake equipped with a locking device for a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, said brake comprising a housing, wherein are formed at least two hydraulic pressure chambers. One of the hydraulic pressure chambers is a service pressure chamber delimited by a brake piston and the other is a lockable accumulation pressure chamber. The invention also concerns a method for operating said hydraulic brake. The invention is characterized in that a double ventilating apparatus (2) ventilates simultaneously both pressure chambers (7, 9). Said double ventilating apparatus (2) comprises two components (30, 31), the first component (30) co-operating with a first sealing seat (35) and enabling the hydraulic connection (29) between the two pressure chambers (7, 9) to be separated, and the second component (31) co-operates with a second sealing seat (36) thereby communicating at least one of the two pressure chambers (7, 9) with the atmosphere. Finally, the invention also concerns a method for emergency unlocking of the locking device. |
