A TRANSPORT TROLLEY HAVING PIVOTABLE ROLLER HOUSINGS

A low-rise trolley to transport palletised cargo 12-18 meters in length and weighing in excess of 30 tonnes has two parallel forks each supported by two or three sets of rollers 7-13. Respective hydraulic cylinders 140 extend and retract each set of rollers 7-13 with respect to its housing 6 so that loads may be lifted by the trolley. Each housing 6 is pivotally mounted at 115 to its respective fork so as to allow rollers 7-13 to remain in contact with uneven ground.
