<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point defect free functional film using a polycarbonate film as a substrate; to provide a curable composition for formation of the functional layer present on the above functional film; and to provide an article mounted with the functional film, especially an image display unit and an optical recording disk. <P>SOLUTION: The curable composition, which is for a transparent polycarbonate film, contains a hardener and an organic solvent whose proportion of an organic solvent having a solubility parameter (SP value) of ≥8.3 and ≤10.5, contained in the whole organic solvent is 60 mass% or less.
