<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote inspection device which can surely and safely inspect an inspection object, which is remote from an inspector, without approaching the inspection object, and also provide a remote inspection method. <P>SOLUTION: When the presence of an inspection object 2 is visually confirmed with a binocular telescope 22, the electromagnetic wave reception-and-transmission surface 21a of an antenna member 21 is directed to the inspection object 2, and under such conditions the button member 24a of a switch device 24 is pressed down. Then, an instruction signal is outputted from the switch device 24, and the instruction signal is entered to an R/W unit 30 via a connector 23 and a connecting cable 25. When the instruction signal is entered, the R/W unit 30 makes the antenna member 21 transmit an electromagnetic wave via the connecting cable 25 and the connector 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
