<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable wall which can prevent crimes such as stealing, burglary, and murder, even if an intruder breaks in and enters a house. <P>SOLUTION: The movable wall is formed of a wall body section 1 and a housing section 2 which is arranged in the wall body section 1 and houses therein stairs 31 reaching to an upper story of a building 43, to thereby conceal the stairs 31. The wall body section 1 is formed on a ceiling 41, and movable between a location that completely closes an aperture 42 communicating between the upper story and the stairs 31, and a location that opens the aperture 42.
