PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out a series of processes from introduction of an image from an electronic camera to storage thereof. SOLUTION: When desired image data out of a plurality of image data stored in the electronic camera 10 are arbitrarily selected by an input part 102, a CPU 110 introduces the selected image data into a work RAM 114 through a connection cable CA and an interface 108 and displays them on a display part 104. When accessary character information for the image data being displayed is arbitrarily inputted by the input part 102, the CPU 110 stores an image file created by relating the inputted accessory character information to the introduced image data in an image RAM 116.
