PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device having a surface treatment rolling member improved in wetting property with a lubricant on a metallic surface to be kept into contact therewith, and improved in its seizure resistance and abrasion resistance by keeping its state. SOLUTION: In this rolling device (thrust bearing 1) having the rolling member comprising metallic rolling elements (balls 5) and raceways (upper race 2 and lower race 3), a compound reaction film layer obtained by combining a metallic component and one of phosphorous compound, sulfur compound, halogen compound or organic metallic compound or its combination, is formed on a surface of at least one of the rolling members (balls 5, and upper and lower races 2, 3), and a lubricant in which at least any of the organic phosphorous compound, organic sulfur compound, organic halogen compound and organic metallic compound as extreme pressure component, exists between metallic contact faces of the rolling members.
