PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto-focus camera capable of immediately specifying a target focal point detection area among a plurality of focal point detection areas. SOLUTION: The auto-focus camera has the plurality of focal point detection areas (25a to 25k), and performs focusing adjustment on an object by driving a photographic lens 3 based on at least one focal point detection result of the plurality of focal point detection areas (25a to 35k), and has focal point detection selecting means (41a to 41k) for selecting an optional focal point detection area from among the plurality of focal point detection areas (25a to 25k), and the array of the focal point detection selecting means (41a to 41k) corresponds to that of the plurality of focal point detection areas (25a to 25k) at least.
