PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headset device whose safety, convenience and design are improved without being expanded or complicated. SOLUTION: This headset device 1 comprises: ear pads 3 mounted over the conchae of a person 2 who mounts a headset on his/her head; speakers provided in the ear pads; a head band 4 which is provided to cover the top of the head of the person 2 who mounts the headset on his/her head, so as to freely turn relatively to the ear pads 3; a microphone 5 which is integrally mounted on the head band 4 for inputting external sounds such as voices from the person 2 who mounts the head set on his/her head; a radio unit for performing data communication via an antenna with a remote predetermined external apparatus; and a codec unit for A/D-converting or D/A-converting received data from the microphone 5 or from the radio unit. The head band 4 is turned, so that the microphone 5 is positioned at least from the part of the top of the head to the part of the front jaws of the person 2 who mounts the head set on his/her head.
