PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method and a terminal, etc. for supporting nursing care by which a cared person selects an appropriate connection means to a home helper, etc. according to presence of emergency with easy operation. SOLUTION: The terminal 10 has a call part which automatically calls a preliminarily registered predetermined telephone number and enables a call, an e-mail part which records voice of a user and automatically transmits the recorded voice to the preliminarily registered predetermined e-mail address, selection parts 31, 32 which select either of the call part or the e-mail part by a user's operation and a control part which operates either of the call part or the e-mail part based on a selection result by the selection parts.
