PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly support the driving operation of a driver by displaying information supporting lane trace in a state where the driver can sufficiently involuntarily watch it. SOLUTION: The road shape in front of an own vehicle is detected, and the own vehicle future position that is a traveling position after the lapse of a predetermined time of the own vehicle is calculated based on this information of road shape and the traveling speed of the own vehicle. The own vehicle future position is projected on, for example, the windshield of the own vehicle so as to be superposed in a corresponding position on the road in front of the own vehicle which can be seen from the present visual point of the driver, and displayed by a dot.
