PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-durable electrophotographic photoreceptor which uses partially crosslinked polycarbonate having high mechanical strength and high solubility with solvent for a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: The photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains partially crosslinked polycarbonate prepared by partially crosslinking polycarbonate with at least one kind of phenol derivative selected from trivalent phenol derivatives expressed by general formula (I) and tetravalent phenol derivatives expressed by general formula (II). In general formulae (I), (II), each of R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>19</SB>independently represents a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted with a halogen, or a halogen atom.
