PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional shift type electrooptical device having a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The bidirectional shift type electrooptical device is provided with: a plurality of scanning lines; a plurality of data lines; a plurality of pixels which are correspondingly provided at the crossings of the scanning lines and the data lines; an internal driving circuit which drives the pixels based on input signals; an electrooptical panel that is provided with a plurality of power supply terminals to which electric power is supplied and a plurality of input terminals to which the input signals are supplied; a mounting member having a plurality of wirings which can be connected to the plurality of power supply terminals and the plurality of input terminals; and an external driving circuit having a power supply and a circuit which generates the input signals. The plurality of input terminals includes first control signal input terminals to which first control signals that drive the pixels and determine the scanning direction to scan the pixels.
