PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shutter mechanism in which high speed drive and high light shield are ensured and ingress of dust is securely prevented. SOLUTION: An imaging module 20 includes a shutter unit 21 and an imaging unit 22. The shutter unit 21 comprises a focal plane shutter having a front curtain 25a and a rear curtain 25b which have electrets. On the opposite faces of the electrets, drive electrodes 28a and 28b, respectively, are disposed and also a stator 29a with an opening 27a, and a stator 29b with an opening 27b, respectively, are disposed. In addition, a protective member 32 having an opening 31 is fixed so as to cover the front of the shutter unit 21. The sides of the shutter unit 21 are covered with a shield member 43.
