PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic film feeder capable of automatically and continuously feeding a lower film to a conveyer with a clamping claw in a deep-drawing packaging machine. SOLUTION: Lower films 4 and 4' are led from two material rolls 6 and 6' through a guide roller 26 and a tension roller 27 respectively to first and second film guide paths 31 and 31' reaching a shared conveyance exit 35. One of the lower films 4 is made standby, and the terminal position of the other lower film 4' fed to the conveyer 1 of the deep-drawing packaging machine body is sensed. The standby lower film 4 is controlled to be fed to the conveyer 1 while positioned behind the terminal position with a predetermined timing. A film pressing device 50 for preventing the lower films 4 and 4' which have been conveyed from rising is provided at the film conveyance exit 35. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
