PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular rear gate drive controlling device capable of preventing opening action of a rear gate when a switch is unintentionally operated, without impairment of convenience. SOLUTION: The vehicular rear gate drive controlling device comprises a vehicular velocity sensor 26 for detecting the velocity of a vehicle, door switches 22 to 25 for detecting operating states of a plurality of doors 27 to 30 different from the rear gate 12, and a controlling unit 13 to which detection values from the vehicular velocity sensor 26 and the door switches 22 to 25 are inputted. The controlling unit 13 is set to make rear gate open switch operation invalid when the velocity of the vehicle exceeds setting vehicular velocity set in advance, and to release invalidity of the rear gate open switch operation when at least either one of the plurality of the doors 27 to 30 is opened once.
