PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small stabilizer controlling apparatus which can actively suppress the rolling of a car body in the case within the output range of an electric motor, and further can secure the original torsional spring characteristic of the stabilizer bars in the case beyond the output range of an electric motor. SOLUTION: A stabilizer actuator having an electric motor and a speed reducer is arranged between a pair of stabilizer bars arranged between right and left wheels. An inverse number of the product of the normal direction driving efficiency and the reverse direction driving efficiency of the speed reducer, 1/(ηP×ηN), is set within the range from 1.17 to 3.75. In the case that the turning comes to exceed the range within which the rolling motion of the car body can actively be controlled, the output of the electric motor is so controlled as to be maintained or reduced.
