PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make such a problem solved that the proper conveyance of a long rolled-sheet as well as a thick one requires the control for a high torque and accuracy together with the supplemental control for making a feeding system synchronized with the delivery one, but, at that time, the conveyance quantity and the stopped position of the conveying roller as well as the feeding one which are driven by each driving method get different due to the tolerance of each roller diameter, and therefore, the proper conveyance is difficult to be performed. SOLUTION: The paper back-feed is performed by step driving only with a stepping motor for feeding, and the conveyance with a repeated constant pulse is performed. In comparing the movement range calculated with the resolution of the encoder from the step number at that time, the read value of a rotary encoder mounted on the conveying roller and the total pulse numbers of the stepping-motor drive, the movement range of the pulse of the stepping motor 1 is made justified and corrected.
