PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device capable of preventing the lowering of clamp force. SOLUTION: A control device 15 of the clamp device 1 is formed with a rectification circuit 31, an alternate energization circuit 32 applying a power source from the rectification circuit 31 to an electromagnet 14 for having its energized direction reversed, and an interlock circuit 33 adapted to prevent a power source short circuit in the alternate energization circuit 32. A first relay (a) terminal 57 of a first relay 41 is connected between a positive electrode 55 of the rectification circuit 31 and a first terminal 56 of the electromagnet 14, and a first relay (b) terminal 60 of the first relay 41 is connected between a negative electrode 58 and a second terminal 59 of the electromagnet 14. A second relay (a) terminal 61 of a second relay 42 is connected between the positive electrode 55 and the second terminal 59, and a second relay (b) terminal 62 of the second relay 42 is connected between the negative electrode 58 and the first terminal 56.
