PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stored water-returning type greening pallet, having lightweight total weight, making the construction rapid, having strong resistance to wind by rooting, making the transfer or removal ready, being rich in water retainability and enabling laborsaving of watering operation, in greening construction to an artificial planting basal plate of rooftop, veranda, or the like. SOLUTION: The stored water-returning type lightweight greening pallet is obtained by forming a plurality of reinforcing bar ribs 3 on the inner bottom of a tray body 1 having a peripheral wall 2, installing a plurality of excess water discharge ports 4 in the intermediate part in height H' direction of the peripheral wall 2, forming a water-storing and water-retaining layer 11 with a granular water-retaining material and asbestos laid thereon from the inner bottom to the height of a tray body opening face, forming a growing layer 6 of the root by casting a porous concrete from the surface of the water storing and water-retaining layer 11 to the height of the tray body opening face, forming a germinating and rooting layer 7 of a plant from the surface of the root-growing layer to the height of the tray body-opening face or above and forming a heat-insulating layer 9 by forming a bottom rim 8 having an adequate height on the outer bottom of the tray body.
