PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly compact the soil layer below seeds and loosen the surface layer above the seeds in order to improve the emergence ratio in seeding operation. SOLUTION: A seeding apparatus is equipped with a rotary seeder 1 for soybeans. Furthermore, the rotary seeder is provided with a rotary tillage/grading part 2 forming a sowing bed, a seeding part 3 for discharging the seeds in the form of a row on the surface of the sowing bed with each seed conduit 3c, a chemical application part 4 for applying a chemical with a chemical conduit 4c in nearly the same row of the seed row sowed in the sowing bed and a fertilizing part 5 for forming a fertilizing furrow in the lateral side of the seed row sowed in the sowing bed and a chemical row in which the chemical is applied and further fertilizing the fertilizing furrow in the form of a row with a fertilizer conduit 5c, a compacting part 6 equipped with each compacting wheel 6a compacting the seed row sowed in the sowing bed, the chemical row in which the chemical is applied and the fertilizer row fertilized in the fertilizing furrow at about 5-10 cm width and abut 2-3 cm depth and forming the compacted furrow and a soil covering part 7 for raking up the surface soil near the compacted furrow formed with the compacting part 6, covering the compacted furrow with the loose soil and carrying out soil covering.
