PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely carry out the transfection of a transfection substance using a needle. SOLUTION: A transfection apparatus 10 is equipped with the needle 11 inserted into a sample, a positioning means 12 for controlling the position of the needle 11, a washing unit 14 for washing the tip 13 of the needle 11 and activating the tip and transfection substance vessels 15 for holding the transfection substance to be adsorbed and held on the needle 11 to which the activity is imparted. The surface of the tip 13 of the needle 11 is made of gold.
