The transformation unit is characterized in that various sets of units are positioned spatially in order to form two distinct areas one reel handling area (A) and a textile intervention area (B). Two parallel circulating areas (7) and (8), which are located on the two sides of the feed-reeling unit (1) and the rewinding-evacuation unit (6) which are substantially aligned with each other, are essentially created by the two above-mentioned areas, wherein the thread transformation sets, especially the texturing units (2),(3),(4) or fixing units (5) are disposed in such a manner that they can be accessed from the textile intervention area.
