<p>In the case where external and internal use addresses have been assigned to a terminal of the other end of communication, a seamless communication can be performed without awareness of which address to use for communication, and a change in connection status can be dynamically dealt with. A gatekeeper (60) has an address table (62), in which global addresses (GA), private addresses (PA) and grouping IDs (GID) can be registered, and registers, during address registration, the address of a communication packet into GA, the address assigned to a terminal into PA, and GID, if any, into GID. During address notification, the gatekeeper (60) refers to the address table to notify, to a transmitting terminal, the PA of a receiving terminal if the GIDs of the receiving and transmitting terminals are coincident with each other or if th ey are not so but the GAs thereof are coincident with each other and to notify, otherwise, the GA of the receiving terminal to the transmitting terminal.</S DOAB></p> |
