<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiving unit which is able to solve problems encountered as in the conventional technology and reduce the size and components to improve workability such as installation and maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: This is an optical receiving unit which receives signals sent through a lead-in optical fiber to convert into electrical signals. The optical receiving unit of this invention incorporates: a terminal forming means to house the end of the optical fiber by bending it into a predetermined curve, a photoelectric converter to convert the signals sent through the lead-in optical fiber into electrical signals, and an automatic gain control to automatically control the gain of the resultant electrical signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
