PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing suspension unit having an increased vibration absorbing capacity for a device having a mechanism performing a reciprocating motion in a Stirling cycle refrigerator. SOLUTION: This vibration absorbing suspension unit comprises a plurality of shafts 14 having male screws 15a formed at the bottom ends thereof, base bottom members 10 having female screws 11 threaded with the male screws of the shafts formed at the upper surface thereof, an intermediate member 21 fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a suspended body 1 and having through holes 21c for passing the shafts therethrough, a first elastic member 20a through which the shafts are passed and fitted to the intermediate member on the lower side of the through holes, a second elastic member 20b through which the shafts are passed and fitted to the intermediate member on the upper side of the through holes, a first support member 19a fixed to the shafts supporting the end part of the first elastic member, and a second support member 19b fixed to the shafts supporting the second elastic member.
