METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALCOHOL AND/OR KETONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an alcohol and/or a ketone from the corresponding alkene by a gas phase reaction using an oxide catalyst, by which the objective product can be produced in high catalyst activity and in highly improved selectivity.

SOLUTION: This method for producing the alcohol and/or the ketone comprises carrying out a reaction using an oxide catalyst comprising the oxides of molybdenum and/or tin by a method for circulating the catalyst between a fluidized bed reactor and a catalyst regenerator at a catalyst-regenerating temperature in a specific range.
