TRAVEL STATE ADVICE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel state advice system in which driving operation quantity needed to reach a specified point is transmitted to a driver intuitively and simply. SOLUTION: The travel state advice system has: a road traffic information acquiring means 1 for acquiring road traffic information in the direction where a user's vehicle travels; a recommended speed estimating means 2 for calculating a recommended speed on the road where the user's vehicle travels on the basis of at least the road traffic information; a specific point extracting means 14 for extracting a specific point where the recommended speed on the road changes; an acceleration/deceleration calculating means 15 for calculating acceleration or deceleration needed for the user's vehicle to reach the recommended speed before reaching the specific point; an information presentation point selecting means 16 for selecting the specific point where the acceleration or deceleration is minimum as a specific point where information is presented to the driver of the user's vehicle; an information content control means 17 for controlling the contents of information presented to the driver to include the contents of the specific point into the contents of the information; and an information presenting means 4 for presenting the contents of the information to the driver.
