PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic safety system for improving the safety of a pedestrian crossing a road. SOLUTION: This traffic safety system is provided with a transmitting device 110 carried by a person, and quipped with a crossing information generating part 114 which generates crossing information showing that a pedestrian crossing a road exists and a transmitting part 121 which transmits crossing information generated by the crossing information generating part 114 and a warning device 130 loaded on a vehicle, and equipped with a receiving part 135 which receives crossing information transmitted by the transmitting part 111 of the transmitting device 110, a display part 141 which issues warning to the operator of a vehicle with a predetermined warning image when the crossing information is received by the receiving part 135, a voice warning part 142 which issues warning with a voice and a decelerating part 143 which issues warning by decelerating the speed of the vehicle.
