摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently improve conversation articulation in a vehicle by reducing the noise level in a frequency range pertaining to human conversation, especially in a high frequency range. SOLUTION: The soundproof material consists of a lightweight sound-absorbing layer 202 of a thickness 1 to 100 mm and a density 0.01 to 0.2 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and a non-air-permeable resonance layer 203 of a weight per unit area of≤600 g/m<SP>2</SP>adhered to the sound-absorbing layer 202 through an adhesive layer 204. The strength of adhesion of the adhesive layer 204 to the sound-absorbing layer 202 and the non-air-permeable resonance layer 203 is set at 1 to 20 N/25 mm at a peeling width 25 mm and peeling at 180°and the adhesive layer 204 is adhered in an area of 50 to 100% of the entire boundary between the sound-absorbing layer 202 and the non-air-permeable resonance layer 203. The sound-absorbing layer 202 is arranged on a panel side of a vehicle body and the non-air-permeable resonance layer 203 is arranged on the inner side of a vehicle room. The sound-absorbing layer 202 is formed to a double layered laminate of the the high-density sound-absorbing sublayer 202a and the low-density sound-absorbing sublayer 202b.
