PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharp inclination belt conveyor using thermosensitive adhesive tape. SOLUTION: In this sharp inclination belt conveyor 1, a conveyor belt 2 for carrying articles 14 from a low position to a high position, or from a high position to a low position is formed of a metal material having excellent heat conductivity, and a thermosensitive adhesive tape 8 having a thermosensitive adhesive layer 12 that is reversibly changed from an adhesive state to a non-adhesive state based on temperature change is applied on a carrying surface 6 of the conveyor belt 2. A carrying section AB in the sharp inclination belt conveyor 1 is composed of an inclined carrying section AC on the upstream side and a horizontal carrying section CB on the downstream side. At the upstream side of a carrying start point A of the inclined carrying section AC, an adhesive state forming means 9 to heat the thermosensitive adhesive layer 12 on the thermosensitive adhesive tape 8 to be adhesive is disposed. In the horizontal carrying section CD, a non-adhesive state forming means 10 to make the thermosensitive adhesive layer 12 of the thermosensitive adhesive tape 8 to be non-adhesive is disposed.
