摘要 The invention relates to a joint system for a wheel guiding mechanism, particularly a driven, steerable axle of a motor vehicle. Said joint system comprises a joint fork (1) that is disposed on a vehicle axle or a wheel support as well as a steering knuckle (2) which supports the wheel bearing (3). The joint fork (1) and the steering knuckle (2) are pivotally interconnected via two bearing points (4, 5). The inventive joint system is characterized in that at least one of the two bearing points (4, 5) of the joint system is provided with a toroidal roller bearing. The invention makes it possible to improve especially the wheel guidance and axle geometry of driven, steered axles while reducing the constructional effort for the wheel suspension and the space required for the joint system as well as improving the bearing properties. The invention thus contributes to optimizing axle kinematics, safety, cost efficiency, and low maintenance of wheel suspensions as well as to improving motoring comfort.
