IONITES REGENERATION PROCESS

The invention relates to processes of purification of natural and sewage waters as well as other liquid solutions using ion-exchange filters, and particular to methods to ion-exchange regeneration and can be used in power engineering, metallurgical, chemical and other industries using desalted or softened water in technological processes. A modified method of ionites regeneration in filtration processes of "the UPCORE" type is proposed, characterized in that prior to the ionite layer compression by medium flow directed bottom up at a linear rate exceeding mean operation by 5-250%, as a rule, for 1-5 minutes. The use of the claimed method increases the effectiveness of the ion-exchange regeneration layer and provides the increase of the filter cycle by 5-10%.
