ARRANGEMENT FOR SPATIAL BENDING

A device for spatial bending relates to metal forming and provided for manufacturing of articles having shaped configuration, in particular, clamp rail connection. The device comprises a lower base with a die fixed thereto, an upper base with a slide and fixed punch thereon, lowering supports and shape-forming elements. A slot is provided on the side surface of the end portion of the shape-forming element for fixing a roller rotatable relative to an axis when contacting a blank. The roller having the diameter comprising at least 1/3 of the shape-forming element width and arrangement of the roller axis from the shape-forming element end at a distance comprising at least 1/3 of the element width permits final blank forming correcting article dimension without changing shape-forming elements due to lesser friction force, arising after blank bending. The technical aim of the invention - working out the design for manufacturing spatially-shaped articles with several bends in the horizontal plane and a sag in the vertical plane, in particular, W-shaped clamp for rail connection, correcting geometrical dimensions of articles, increasing life time due to lesser friction force when bending blanks in the horizontal plane and enabling change of the roller diameter not changing the shape-forming elements which leads to substantial labor-intensiveness in article manufacture.
