Copolymers of styrene and acrolein reacted with arylamines

A copolymer of acrolein and styrene is reacted with a compound having the formula or a compound having the formula where R1 and R11 are each selected from hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamine, nitro, phenylazo, hydroxy, acyl, aldehydo, halogen, cyano, phenylamino, heterocyclic residue and 2,4-dinitro phenyl amino. The resulting products are photo-conductive.
