The manual operation device is for a bistable multi-path valve (2) with a switchable valve member and operating device (36) running transverse to the switching movement (7). The operating device has at least two parallel pushrods (38, 40), which acts on different flanks (19, 21) of the valve member (12) when operated. When one is in use, the other is locked.
