A coupling for sealing a pipe to a sump wall 20 comprises a sleeve 21 configured to be inserted in an aperture in the sump wall 20 and having a bore, a collar 22 having a stepped internal diameter 22a placed in the bore of the sleeve 21, a bung 23 configured to be received in the stepped portion 22a of the internal diameter and at least one flanged washer 24a, 24b sized to fit on the outside diameter of the sleeve 21 and which is placed against the wall 20. The collar 22 is fusible with the pipe and the flanged washer 24a, 24b includes, at least in part, a material which is leak tight bondable to the material of the sump wall 20. The flanged washer 24a, 24b may either be a metal washer element with a matting of leak tight placed over it or it can be a unitary piece of leak tight bondable material. The collar 22 preferably includes an electro-fusion wire which in use fuses the collar 22 to the pipe. |
