The device has a tube (12) integrated to a case, and a winding crown (14) moveable in rotation around an axis defined by the tube. A winding stem (18) is connected to the crown by a disengaging unit (16), such that torque of a mainspring is less than a limiting value, and engages coaxially in the tube. A sealing unit (30) is inserted between the crown and the tube, and delimits a space in which the disengaging unit is housed.
