PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the pressure loss caused by the contact of a capillary member of the connection part of an ink tank and a filter on the side of a recording head and to reduce printing inferiority. SOLUTION: A first connection part capillary member 18 and a second connection part capillary member 19 are provided to a joint part 2. When an ink tank 1 is mounted, the second connection part capillary member 19 comes into contact with the filter 32 provided to the ink introducing part 4 of a printing head 3. The fluffy fibers of.the first connection part capillary member 18 are suppressed by the second connection part capillary member 19 and an increase in the pressure loss of the filter caused by that the fluffy fibers cover the filter 32. The almost whole space between a second meniscus forming member 17 and the filter 32 is filled with the first connection part capillary member 18 and, therefore, the penetration of air can be reduced and poor printing quality can be reduced. |
