PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head ejecting liquid material with a stabilized liquid drop size at a stabilized ejection amount per unit time. SOLUTION: In the way of being supplied to a liquid drop nozzle 16 through a liquid channel 17, ink (a) in an ink tank 15 is stored temporarily in a liquid storage member 18 by capillary action. Head difference thereby decreases between the ink (a) in the ink tank 15 and the ink (a) at the liquid drop nozzle 16. Consequently, the size of a curved liquid level of ink (a) being formed at a liquid ejection opening 16a and the ejection amount per unit time do not vary significantly even if the quantity of ink (a) in the ink tank 15 increases or decreases subsequently, and the ink (a) can be ejected well from the liquid drop nozzle 16.
