880,322. Electric circuit panels. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. Feb. 3, 1958 [Feb. 2, 1957], No. 3410/58. Class 37. An electric circuit panel has conductors formed by printed circuit technique on a support and connections made to these conductors by a dip soldering process. One or more contacts are provided for connecting to circuit conductors which carry high voltages, or require screening, and which are not printed on the support. These contacts are so positioned as not to be connected to conductors during the dip soldering process. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, an electric circuit panel comprises an insulated support 1 provided on one side with a pattern of adhering conductors 2 and on the other side with components 3. A valve holder 5 is mounted in an aperture such that some of its terminals 8 which form the said contacts project on the side of the support on which the components are mounted, and the remaining terminals 6 project on the other side for connecting to the printed conductors during the dip soldering process. The non-printed conductors 9 are preferably screened and may be connected to the terminals 8 subsequent to the dip soldering process. An alternative method of mounting the valve holder is shown in Fig. 2 (not attached). |
