<p>The equipment for the preparation of a fruit juice drink comprises fruit pulp mixed with one or more flowable additives stored in containers (10,11,12). These containers are connected by conduits (20, 21, 22) to a mixing tank (1) provided with a mixing component (2). In the bottom part of each container is a pressure sensor (30, 31, 32) which probes the additive fluid pressure. Each conduit contains a controllable valve (40). A computer (7) is connected to the pressure sensors and controls (50, 51, 52) for each valve (40, 41, 42), on the basis of a stored recipe and the establishment of a prior established quantity of a specific fruit juice drink, open the respective valves for additive feed in the prescribed amounts according to the recipe. The computer controls the opening of the respective valves on the basis of a specific pressure sensor in accordance with the pressure difference registered when the valve is opened and data recorded in the computer covering cross-sectional areas of the actual containers, level variations and the density of additives.</p> |
